Drifting Lands / by Karim Nader

Every break-up is painful. As people move away, lands drift.

Six tables drift away from each other in height and format. Seemingly floating on stick thin solid brass supports, like legs of a giraffe under an elephant in a Dali painting, the smaller tables are light enough to be moved closer to a seated visitor holding her coffee. The overall composition add-up to a 1:2 proportion rectangle, harmony on one side, disorder on the other.

Every break-up is painful. But it is the same ground that made them all.

Set of six coffee tables in high-performance concrete with solid brass legs. Overall dimension 120cm x 240cm. Unique piece.
